Notifications

SMS Chat provides two different types of Notifications:

• Browser notification – This is received when a user is logged into SMS Chat and are on either the conversation view, search view or ad-hoc message view
• Out of browser notification – This is received when a user is logged into SMS chat, but is out of browser and using a different application. This notification is only available in the most
  up to date versions of Chrome and Firefox.

Agents will receive a notification when they are allocated a conversation, or when a new message comes into an existing conversation. Supervisors receive a notification when a conversation is either allocated, re-allocated or when there is an unallocated conversation but no agents available.
